Midwife Caroline Sausler takes heart tones while a pregnant parent lays on the examination table smiling up at her during a prenatal visit

When I became pregnant with my third baby, I knew I wanted the support of homebirth midwives during pregnancy and birth. Caroline was always welcoming and kind, checking in with me during each visit about how I felt physically and emotionally. The wonderful thing about working with out-of-hospital midwives is their attentiveness to holistic care, not just a focus on the health of the baby but a look at how the mother is doing in all aspects as well.

Rachel was part of the midwifery team for our care with our son. Throughout our appointments for the 7 months we saw her, we grew so close to her! She is an amazing listener, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She continuously cheered me on and informed me of things I had questions about, creating a safe place for us throughout my pregnancy. I had anxiety about seeing doctors and my pregnancy- but she melted that away.

When I went into labor- I was so happy to have her on my team. Rachel is strong, nurturing, smart, safe, caring, gentle, everything you could ever want in a birth team.

Midwife Rachel Wright checks vitals on a newborn baby held by their parent during a postpartum visit

Rachel was so calm at my birth. She was just what I needed when my baby was brought into this world and I’d have her there for 100 more babies! At all of my post birth home visits she was so warm, and she was so gentle and loving with my babe! She remembered me and my history at all of my appointments and I truly felt like a friend and was confident in her abilities and knowledge. She was so great! Thank you Rachel!
